Revolutionary AI-powered fleet decarbonisation report launched

Dynamon solves complex and expensive fleet EV transition with new Decarbonisation Planning Report
Fleets can now obtain a complete analysis of how to decarbonise in a matter of days at a fraction of the cost and complexity found elsewhere thanks to Dynamon’s ground-breaking new Decarbonisation Planning Report.
The Decarbonisation Planning Report has been created to fulfil the requirements of fleet managers looking to transition to electric or alternative fuels, and especially provide a solution for those who are stretched in terms of time and resource.
All fleets of any size have to do is supply their telematics or routing data to Dynamon which, using its existing award-winning predictive software, will build and send a full report in a few days with the help of artificial intelligence.
The report will, among many detailed results, identify which vehicles could move to alternative fuels, how routes could be changed to suit and which depots and locations will need charging, and at what level.
“The Decarbonisation Planning Report is a milestone for fleet decarbonisation, because for the first time, a business can get all the answers to what many find a highly complex problem in a matter of days,” said CEO Angus Webb.
After extensive research and hundreds of conversations with fleet managers, Dynamon identified there is huge desire to decarbonise. But for many businesses, analysing their fleet and putting together a cohesive operational and financial plan for transitioning to alternative fuels, which can be supported by senior management, takes too long and costs too much money. Dynamon has created the Decarbonisation Planning Report to solve this impasse.
“No long lead times and numerous meetings. No need to spend months consulting. No vague costs and mission creep,” Webb continued. “Just send us the data, pay the fee based on clear menu pricing and in a few days we will analyse the information, and with the help of AI, produce the completed report.”
Dynamon is open about the cost of its Decarbonisation Planning Report - up to 80% lower than equivalent reports – to ensure transparency and turbocharge fleet managers’ ability to begin the transition process. Prices start at £4,990 (ex VAT) for fleet sizes below 50 and rise to £10,990 (ex VAT) for those from 200-300 vehicles. There are significant discounts for fleets above 300 in size too.
For every customer, the report will include electric vehicle roll-out strategies, charging and power requirements, Total Cost of Ownership implications, projected emission reductions, capital purchase projections, and low carbon alternatives when electric doesn’t suit.
“We speak to fleets and often they say they want to put in place a plan for electric and other alternative fuels, but trying to find the budget for doing this is incredibly difficult. They need to speak to vehicle manufacturers, leasecos, charging providers and other stakeholders, then pull all the information into an actionable strategy,” said Webb.
“Identifying exactly how much this might cost, and pitching this to senior management, is not easy. It’s holding back decarbonisation for many, many fleets. Even once the project has been approved, there is pressure to show a return on investment and get results that can be enacted there and then. Otherwise the process just starts all over again, or gets shelved for a few years.
“Today, we can solve these challenges at a stroke with the Decarbonisation Planning Report. It truly is a revolutionary, disruptive service that will change the fleet landscape.”
Dynamon will continue to provide its software for consultants, OEMs, infrastructure providers and leasing companies, as well as supporting larger fleets and special projects with its bespoke consultancy service. But, Webb believes, there are thousands of fleets out there who just need answers now, and again in future.
“One of the strengths of this pricing model is that fleets can run this report on a regular basis. In the decarbonisation sector, things are changing all the time. It might be that the Decarbonisation Planning Report shows in 2025 that certain parts of the fleet are not ready for the transition,” said Webb.
“But run it again in 2026, as technology and infrastructure develops, and it could be that the results are very different.
“What we intend to do is offer a discount for multi-year use, at a highly competitive cost, so any business can look at this issue whenever they need, without worrying it will consume vast amounts of resource, time and budget.”
Webb also believes that the savings highlighted in reports - such as through Total Cost of Ownership modelling, which shows that vehicles with smaller, cheaper batteries still have a role, and that costly high-power chargers aren't necessary - will easily outweigh the cost of purchasing the Decarbonisation Planning Report.
“Because of the cost of the report it’s simple to prove its worth, just through procurement optimisation alone. For example, our data shows the £5,000 cost of installing a 22kW charger is typically a sixth of a 50kW one, while a van with a 50kWh battery can be around £25,000 less to buy than a 90kWh version,” he said.
“If the report shows a business can make just one or two of these types of procurement decisions and still be operationally viable, it will have already paid for itself many times over, and that’s even before you get into other cost saving scenarios.”
Artificial intelligence has been crucial in being able to bring the Decarbonisation Planning Report to life. Dynamon has been at the forefront of research and knowledge into vehicle decarbonisation for many years, and has developed the most complex software tools in the industry for helping vehicles transition.
But marrying this technology and know-how with AI allows Dynamon to offer incredible levels of analysis and insight at a scale and cost not possible before.
“The concept that next week, a business which contacts us today could have every single answer they need for decarbonising their fleet is quite incredible. There really is nothing like this in the fleet sector,” Webb continued.
“With the Decarbonisation Planning Report we have finally brought the ability to understand how to transition a fleet to electric or alternative fuels for every business in the UK, no matter their size, at the right cost, right now.”
